U.S. Innovation and Partnerships

At UCB, everything we do starts with a simple question: “How will this create value for people living with severe diseases?” To do this, our approach to innovation keeps patients at the center. We use patient insights to inform our science to build solutions to deliver to patients. Innovation is ongoing as we continue to find solutions to meet the unmet needs of patients.

A key underserved patient population is women of childbearing age managing chronic conditions. UCB is committed to collaborating with these patients and incorporating their needs in the innovative process. UCB is the industry representative to the National Institutes of Health’s Task Force on Research Specific to Pregnant and Lactating Women.

We are also collaborating with the American Gastroenterological Association to address the lack of easily accessible and accurate information about inflammatory bowel disease for patients of childbearing age.
